 My husband loves all of these books Jul 06, 2010
As we prepare to build a new home my husband has ordered all of the books written by this author, on greywater usage, and has found them extremely useful. He's reading one now and still getting new information. Very well written and informative.

I decided I wanted to re-use the gray water at home. I builted a new house and make a system to recolect, store, pump and then reuse my greywater in the toilets.
It was terrible. The water stinked and I didn't know what to do. I found Art website and found in his "more common errors with greywater" section that one shouldn't store or pump the greywater.
I bought the book and found the right way to do it. Now my bathrooms are odor free and I'm using the grey water wisely.
A must if you want to learn about this subject.

Greywater Bible, detailed design, build, maintain guides Mar 02, 2010
This is THE book, no matter if you don't know what greywater is or if you are a DIYer hacking into your plumbing. Lots of pictures, diagrams, and design rubrics. Also this is a no-nonsense approach, Art is not trying to sell you anything, if your house, habits, or climate is not appropriate the answer is easy: don't bother, it's not worth it. For the rest of us trying to reduce our impact (even renters with willpower) this is the guide to this piece of the puzzle.

Both comprehensive and simple Feb 05, 2009
This book manages to cover everything with a fair amount of detail, and keep it simple enough for owner-builders and do-it-yourselfers. It's a great mix of detailed technical information and a simple, plain english introduction to the ideas.
Even if you don't think you need this book, you probably need it. Useful for gardeners, builders, landscapers, and anyone who wants to help conserve resources. If you live in an area with water restrictions or upcoming drought restrictions on water usage, this book will save your yard.
