Great machine for money!!!!!! Mar 11, 2010 This is the greatest computerized sewing machine you will ever get for your money!!! I did my research on line and found this machine rated as one of the top machines. It has all the bells and whistles -- self-threading, quilting arm, thread cutter, and even catches it's own bobbin thread!
I'm not a die-hard sewer, but like to dabble with small projects. My old machine made all my projects so difficult. This machine makes it a snap!
You gotta get this machine if your in the market for a new sewing machine!!!
I LOVE this machine!!! Mar 10, 2010 I am VERY new to sewing. I did a lot of research & this machine seemed to have the most options for the price. I was a little reserved until I used it. I know almost NOTHING about sewing. I had a woman demo a $300+ machine in a store & this has ALL of the features that she showed me & more. It is VERY user friendly. I read the instruction manual {which I usually don't do on things}. It was very helpful. This sewing machine is very lightweight & easy to move around. I have made quite a few projects & they turned out perfect. This is a great machine & I don't think that you will regret buying it!
Great product Mar 07, 2010 This sewing machine is my first machine. I think it does exactly what it says it will do. I use it for sewing on cub scout patches and awards, and for quilting.
LOVE this Machine! Mar 06, 2010 I've not bought a new sewing machine in many years...I had an old Singer that finally gave up the ghost. I went to a sewing machine store recently where they tried to sell me another brand machine that was similar to this one, but with 10 fewer stitch selections...at almost triple the price. Yikes!
The Brother CS6000I is extremely quiet, VERY easy to use, lightweight, and has a great number of stitches available. The only thing I found disconcerting was the self-threading feature, but with just a lil' practice, I was up and running in no time! The best feature? The push-button start/stop thing...there's a foot pedal included, but why bother? This machine is great fun!!
bobbin problem Mar 04, 2010 i do not like the way the bobbin fits it keeps popping out and breaking my needles the stitch is good but i have to keep threading the machine and that is a problem i hav had the machine for about 4 weeks and i have used 9 needles which is not very good at all
